Hello my name is Keyaanah,

I am fortunate to live in a country like Canada which gives me opportunities and the freedom to live a comfortable life. Unfortunately, this is not the case for my cousin Thaira. She is 18 years old and lives in Zimbabwe. Sadly, living in Zimbabwe limits your potential in so many ways. She has no access to healthcare and is unable to finish her education because of the economic situation of the country. I am starting this “go fund me” because I believe we all deserve a chance for opportunities to create a better life for ourselves.

This is why my family is working towards trying to get her out of the country. Thaira has a opportunity to go to the UK because of her Portuguese ancestry rights. The UK is where she has family to help and support her. We have been able to raise money for her plane ticket, but due to the pandemic she is required to quarantine for 10 days upon arrival. She has already gotten her vaccine, but it is still a requirement to quarantine for this amount of time. The fees are $1700 pounds ($2930 CAD) which we are unable to raise as this time. 

We are asking you, if you could please find it in your heart to help raise money so she can have an  opportunity to leave and one day create a better life for herself, and later her 3 younger brothers. 

We can all work together, no amount is to little.
