Hello, I’m Leeanne and any and everyone who knows me knows how much Teddy means to me. If you don’t, please let me explain to you that this dog is my absolute lifeline. He means more to me than anything on this earth and I will go beyond any lengths to keep him here with me longer.

Unfortunately right after Teddy’s 10th birthday where he was celebrated and loved on, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Hearing this news has left me beyond devastated and heart broken. To make matters worse, we don’t have many options for Teddy’s treatment. Our plan for the best quality of his life will be a couple of medications that will hopefully extend his life for at least 6-8 months.. we’re hoping for a year but the vet did not seem very optimistic about that. the medication is going to cost us about $500 every month and on top of the vet visits, the costs are adding up very quickly.

The only other treatment option would be radiation as they said chemo won’t work for him. However radiation treatments are around $10,000 and we are waiting to hear back from a grant to hopefully cover those costs. Until then, his best and only option is going to be those medications.
