Hi everyone,

Can you believe it?! Teddy is turning 2 this week! He is the biggest blessing in our lives, and we want to give him a strong start with his education. So in honor of his birthday, instead of gifts, we're raising funds to help cover the cost of preschool.

Teddy is a bright, curious, and joyful little boy, and we want to support his early learning during these important formative years. Preschool will help him build social skills, confidence, and a love of learning that will carry with him into kindergarten and beyond.

Like many families, we were caught off guard by how expensive preschool can be. We've always planned for Teddy to attend public school long-term, but right now we're struggling to cover preschool costs. We chose a humble play-based preschool that's close by. It gave us a good gut feeling, and is one of the only preschools where the children spend half the day outside (very important for Teddy!) Also, they were one of the only preschools that had room and would take him. And we're so excited for him to start there in August!

We became parents a little later in life, and we feel incredibly lucky to have Teddy. At the same time, we're still finding our footing financially.
