Hi, my name is Jake, and in June, we adopted a two-year-old cat named Tator Tot from a shelter. Before that, he lived outside as a stray and had a very rough life. One of the health problems he developed while being outside was stomatitis, a painful and severe inflammation of a cat's mouth likely caused by an overactive immune response to plaque, resulting in red, swollen tissues, sores, and difficulty eating. He will most likely need some or all of his teeth removed, which is a very expensive surgery, but he needs it because he is living a miserable, painful life. He is a sweet boy, and I want him to be healthy and happy. Please help my furson Tator Tot.
