Give Light and Support to Tariq’s Family.

Hello everyone, I am Tariq from Gaza. I am 21 years old and live with my family of 6. My brothers and sisters are younger than me; I am the eldest son in my family. I was studying at university, majoring in English, and I dreamed of being a translator, getting a job, having my own life, an independent house, a wife, and children. But in the blink of an eye, this went with the wind because of the war of extermination that my people and family in Gaza are being subjected to.

Since the war began, we have been exposed to bombing, destruction, death, hunger, and thirst. Our homes, schools, universities, mosques, and all our lives have been destroyed, and my loved ones and neighbors have died. I lost about 20 of my relatives: my uncle and his four sons, my aunt, her husband, and her little daughter Judy, and my father’s relatives who are still under the rubble, as well as other friends, acquaintances, and loved ones. Because of this, I suffered from depression and psychological trauma. May God have mercy on them and help me through the pain of separation.

We can no longer provide for our needs and necessities. My father suffers from chronic rheumatoid arthritis and a slipped disc, so he needs urgent treatment and painkillers on a daily basis. Unfortunately, there is no clean water, gas, or electricity. The simplest necessities of life are not available. My dreams and the future I was building were shattered. I moved from one place to another and lived in tents in the dark, in the open, in the cold, and in the heat as well, for more than a year and a half. Don't I and my family have the right to live in safety and peace? Don't I have the right to find myself able to live with dignity?

I need your support and assistance so that my family and I can overcome this difficult ordeal. Please, I appeal to your humanity to help me and be for me a ray of sunshine that gives us the strength to survive and overcome all difficulties and obstacles and to convey my suffering and voice to the world. Be generous and support me with an amount, even if it is small, because this will make a difference in my life. Thank you very much for your merciful hearts.
