Give Tara Peace and Comfort

Our sweet, friendly, generous, chatty and beautiful Tara Healy Kenny, born and raised in Pearl River, is close to the end of her journey. Her friends want to help keep Tara close by, in the county she never left, so we can all hold her hand and try to send her on in the most peaceful way possible. If you ever met her, you shared a laugh or a received a kind word, or two.

Tara has been bravely battling cancer for the last 13 years. She has been lucky to have the world’s best medical care through Memorial Sloan Kettering, and the tireless support from her husband and family. This past year has been especially difficult, complicated and draining on all levels. Now, due to insurance restrictions, we need the funds to finish the long fight including keeping her in hospice close by so her elderly parents, friends/loved ones, and family can be there without the obstacles of crossing bridges and distance during this extremely trying time.
