Hi everyone,

My name is rose, and today I’m asking for help in one of the hardest moments of my life. Our sweet 2-year-old chihuahua, Taco, has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Writing those words still doesn’t feel real. Taco is such a tiny dog with such a huge heart, and this diagnosis has completely shattered our little family. Taco has been with us through everything. He’s my companion, my comfort, and one of the brightest parts of every day. But more than anything, he is my 1-year-old daughter’s best friend. She cuddles him when she’s sleepy, shares her toys with him, and smiles the biggest smile every time she says his name — “Taco.” Watching them bond has been one of the greatest joys of my life.To see him suddenly become sick… to watch my daughter gently pet him, not understanding why her best friend doesn’t feel good… it has been heartbreaking.

As a single parent, I’m doing absolutely everything I can, but his treatment costs are more than I can handle alone. We are trying to raise $3,000 to help cover:

• Diagnostic tests

• Treatment and medications

• Follow-up care to keep him comfortable and fighting

• Anything needed to give Taco the chance he deserves

Taco is still so young, and his spirit is strong. He wants to fight — and I want to fight for him. I refuse to give up on him, and I’m asking for help so I don’t have to.
