Symon’s story began on one of Chicago’s busiest highways, where his life was in immediate danger until our brother, Dylan Dunne, stepped in and rescued him from the chaos. What could have been a tragic ending instead became the start of a second chance.
Since bringing Symon to safety, we’ve learned that he is suffering from a serious bladder infection that may also affect his kidneys, requiring urgent veterinary care and ongoing treatment.
The Sigma Chi fraternity at DePaul University has welcomed Symon with open arms and hopes to make him our official chapter cat, a symbol of compassion, brotherhood, and giving back. We are raising funds to cover his medical expenses and ensure he receives the care he needs to recover, heal, and live the healthy, loving life he deserves. Every contribution helps give Symon the future he almost never had.
