Hey guys! My name is Eden and my kitten, Sylvester, is 7 months old and is currently facing serious health challenges. He has been diagnosed with multiple organ failure and a rare mutation condition.

His veterinary team at LSU recommends a feeding tube and specialized treatment.

This is a new treatment that has an encouraging 80% success rate, compared to 2 years ago where there was no cure.

However, the treatment is costly, like most vet treatments.

So far, I’ve invested about $3,500 in his care. The next stage of treatment is estimated to cost an additional $3,000–$4,000. As a college student, covering these expenses alone is difficult, and I’m reaching out for support to give him the best chance at survival.

This kitten has been with me since I moved out into my own place this August. He has been a major source of comfort and joy during one of the toughest semesters of college. He is super funny, playful, and truly the sweetest and easiest cat I’ve ever had. Adopting him was genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He makes life so much better, and I want to do everything I can to help him continue to live a good life.
