Hi! I’m the single mom of a young woman with non speaking profound autism. We received an adaptive tricycle from a local charity over a decade ago and my daughter stopped being able to tolerate the process of putting her feet in the straps, and peddling(even though she was actually being pushed, and her legs were peddling because they were strapped to the peddles). She uses an AAC device(talking app on an iPad) to express a few preferred foods and activities and she still requests to “ride her tricycle” even though she has a meltdown any time I try to put her on it. When I saw this tricycle, called a SixThreeZero Electric Rickshaw, I knew she would love it. This is my first attempt at using GoFundMe, and I had to swallow a lot of useless pride to do so. My sweet angel deserves a tricycle ride with the breeze in her hair on a warm summer evening, like other young people. Please help us get this Electric Rickshaw for her. Thank you for your generosity…Bobbie and Syd xo
