Hi everyone, meet Wilma — the sweetest senior girl who simply wants to be loved. She needs both her eyes removed in order to live a happy healthy life!

Wilma was found abandoned near a dumpster and sadly ended up on the euthanasia list due to some medical concerns that are treatable. When we heard her story, our hearts broke. She didn’t deserve for her life to end that way — she deserved compassion, comfort, and a real chance.

My wife and I both work in the veterinary field. Every day we dedicate our lives to helping animals and supporting the pets and families who need care. When we learned about Wilma, we knew we had to step in and give her the love and chance she had been denied.

We welcomed Wilma into our home, and she has already shown us just how special she is. Despite everything she has been through, she is incredibly gentle, loving, and grateful for every bit of kindness she receives.

As much as we want to give her everything she needs, Wilma does require medical care, diagnostics, and treatment to get her healthy and comfortable so she can enjoy her golden years.
