Give Susan Life Saving Treatment

Hello, my name is Damien Rice. I lived and worked in Vanuatu from 2009-2011 where I made many friends including Susan James. A while ago Susan reminded me of the day I picked up her and her family in monsoonal rain. I hardly recall this small act of kindness- but it left an impression on her.
Susan is in a far more serious situation. This is an opportunity for you to do something kind and immeasurably more significant; something life-changing- possibly life-saving.
According to Dr Samuel Kemuel (General Surgeon at Vila Central Hospital), she appears to have an esophageal tumor that can be either benign or malignant. A thorough study, including fresh endoscopy, PET CT, biopsy and blood tests, may be needed to determine the exact location, spread and nature of the condition. The treatment may potentially involve surgery +/- radiation +/- chemotherapy. Susan has been referred to Medivisor Health whose offices in Fiji (which has a large Indian population) connect Pacific Islanders to cheaper medical treatment in India. She will require up to three months of treatment there.
According to Director Kumar Sushant, the associated costs will be:
[+] Investigations: [phone redacted] USD ~ $1,800 AUD
[+/-] Surgery: 7000-8000 USD ~ $12,000 AUD
[+/-] Chemotherapy (3 months): 5000-6000 USD ~ $9000 AUD
[+/-] Radiation: 3500-4000 USD ~$6000 AUD
[+] Review and Medicines X 3 months: [phone redacted] USD ~ $1500 AUD
[+] Accommodation (for 2 people for 90 days): 2000-3000 USD. ~ $4500 AUD
Food extra.
TOTAL Estimate $34,800 AUD
Kindly note that the aforementioned treatment details and costs are approximate and based on the limited information provided. They may change depending on in-hospital investigations and the treatment outcome.
Susan is 47 years old. She is a single mother with several children. She is a high school teacher at Epauto Adventist High School in Port Vila. Susan has already raised or saved 900,000 Vatu or ~$11,500 AUD.
Diagnostic and treatment options in Vanuatu are limited including lack of MRI and CT machines. I could bemoan the absence of humanity and equity in our world, the failures of foreign policy by successive Australian and New Zealand governments, or the greed and self-interest that drive economies and government. But like others before her, Susan needs immediate intervention.
We're asking you to help.
