Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with an urgent plea to help a sweet neighborhood stray cat named Stripe. He’s been a familiar face in our Uptown Fort Worth neighborhood for a while now—often seen roaming around with his brother, Ninja. We’ve posted about them before, hoping someone would scoop them up and give them the loving home they deserve.

Unfortunately, we believe Stripe was hit by a car. I found him injured and immediately brought him into my garage to keep him safe and out of the cold.

We rushed him to the vet, where we received heartbreaking news: Stripe’s femur is broken in two places. The recommended course of action is amputation. While it’s devastating to hear, it may be the only way to relieve his pain and give him a chance at a healthy, pain-free life.

We’ve started him on pain medication and anti-inflammatories, but we need help to cover the cost of his treatment and surgery. Any funds raised will go directly toward Stripe’s veterinary care, medication, and recovery needs.
