In August Storm our 8 year old Husky was diagnosed with diabetes. We tried our hardest to manage with his insulin but unfortunately he lost his sight overnight. The Blue Cross told us whilst he had gone completely blind in both eyes, it was cataracts and could be fixed by an eye specialist.

The Paragon Veterinary specialists in Wakefield are able to restore Storm's sight. The cost of the surgery is £4000 per eye. Its a big ask for anyone around christmas or anytime for that matter, but me and my wife are so desperate to have Storm's sight back.  Even if its just one eye, I want storm to be able to see his christmas presents and us again. Seeing him bump into things and depressed its just not the same dog.
