Meet Sprecks — a sweet, resilient pup found in the agricultural fields of Spreckels, CA (that’s how he got his name!). Life hasn’t been kind to Sprecks so far — he was discovered severely underweight, with visible wounds, scarring, and possible trauma injury on his front legs. He had no microchip, no collar, and no one to call his own.

Despite everything he’s been through, Sprecks is full of heart. Every day, he shows more of his goofy, loving personality — the happy dog he was always meant to be.

Sprecks is in need of:

A full vet check-up

Medication and treatment for his wounds

X-rays for his legs

Vaccinations and neutering

Ongoing foster care and nutrition to help him heal

Shelters are overwhelmed, and we want to keep Sprecks safe, warm, and cared for outside of the stressful shelter setting. Your support ensures he continues to receive the medical care and love he needs, and helps prepare him for a forever home!
