Give Somi the Gift of a Healthy Life

Hello, my name is Brendan and this is Somi, a kitten I recently adopted.

I recently adopted Somi from a friend as a comfort animal due to some recent events that occurred, and felt like I needed something to keep me company and active on my feet. Somi came home and has been slowly adjusting to her home, however due to her being primarily living outside for most of her current lifespan and adjusting to being an indoor cat, she has had some health problems.

Somi is currently about 8 1/2 weeks old, weighing just a little over a pound, which the vet has told me that she is definitely underweight and should be around 2 pounds. She has been eating very little and only recently she started eating a little more as I feed her alternatives that was recommended by the vet. She has been to the vet and the vet has recommended Proviable Forte and Bendazole, for her digestive health and to broadly check if she has any parasites due to her being outside. However there were recommendations from the doctor that I should do for a more through check for her health that I was not capable of affording.

I want to give the best for Somi as she is my first cat, and has been helping me very much through my emotional state, and there is currently nothing more that I want than to provide the best life for her. Based on the calculations from the vet, a total cost would come down to 513 for health check ups (360 for the fecal exam + rest is blood test). This is excluding that she also needs to be microchipped and be given vaccines to which I am not quite sure how much they would end up costing.

Currently she is not in a state to have blood drawn due to her low weight (1.040lbs last check up) and these expenses are high for my current state, with necessity bills I am currently paying off. Donations are greatly appreciated and 100% is going purely to Somi's care. Donation is not required, and please do not feel obligated to donate.
