Meet Owen. All he wants is a family to love.
Owen has so much love to give behind that rough exterior. Owen has a skin condition that is not contagious and can be cured with treatment. He also needs some dental work and help for a bad knee.
Despite all of his outward issues, he has a heart full of hope. He won’t even let heart worm stop him from recovering. Come January, he will be ready for his forever family. It will take a lot of time, care and love to get him ready. It will also take quite a bit of money.
We know that everyone is hurting these days. The Buddy Foundation feels it, too. Donations are understandably down lately, but Owen and all the cats and dogs searching for loving homes don’t know that there is a pandemic. All they know is that they need someone to cuddle with at night once they are healthy. Can you spare a little extra to help them?
All the money given to Buddy goes directly to the care of the animals. Not a single penny goes to any person who volunteers there including our generous vets and volunteers. Where else can you donate and know that every cent goes to the ones you want to help?
Ask anyone who has found a furry family member to love at Buddy, and they will tell you that their adopted family members gave them endless hope and love. How do I know? I was lucky enough to be adopted by my dog Quasar three years ago. And that’s all that Owen needs, time to recover so he can find and adopt his family with your help.
Thanks for any amount you can give. We will keep loving and caring for Owen and all the pets who need us with your help.
Stay safe and well. And pass the word to the animal-lovers you know. There is no better place for any dog or cat while they wait for their family to love. We can only help them if you help us.
Gratefully yours,
The Buddy Foundation and Owen
And here is my Quasar on the day I met her and now. See what money, time and love can do?
