Give Simon a Second Chance: Fund His Surgery

Hi, my name is Simon and my life with my new family began on August 6, 2025. I was only 3 weeks old. Some mean people took me away from my mom and threw me out of a moving vehicle. That broke both of my right legs, front and hind. I hurt so badly that I could not walk anymore. I cried for my mom, but she never came for me. Then a scary person found me and picked me up. I tried to run away but could not. She took me to a doctor and then to her home. My new mom fed me and made me feel safe. When I was 4 weeks old, I was happy again. I still hurt, but not as bad. Then my family took me to a different doctor, and they said my right front leg must be amputated. But that is okay because I cannot use it anyway. They also said my right hind leg needs surgery, or I would lose it too. That is harder because I cannot walk without that one. My family needs your help with the cost of my surgeries. The doctor says the surgeries and future appointments are estimated to be in the $10,000 range. My family saved my life that day in August and I promise I will be the best kitty ever. After paying all the surgical and doctor bills, any unused money will be donated to the Pascoe Memorial Fund -- to support the emergency treatment of feline animal companions whose owners are financially unable to cover the costs with the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
