I am reaching out to share a story of my cousin Ava and her special kitten, Simon. Ava is a compassionate individual who pours her heart into any person or animal in need. Recently, she made the selfless decision to adopt Simon, a sweet kitten rescued from the streets of Philadelphia. She did not know then that he would be one of the best things to happen to her. For Simon, this was true for him too. With Ava’s unconditional love, he thrived under her care.

Unfortunately, at just 9 months old, Simon has fallen seriously ill. After a visit to the vet, our worst fears were confirmed. The vet suspects that Simon may have lymphoma or leukemia, conditions that, while serious, are treatable in young cats. However, to confirm his diagnosis and to initiate the necessary treatment, we need your help.

Ava has always given to others. Now, we want to help her get Simon the medical care he needs so that they can continue to be a source of joy and companionship in each other's lives.
