Give Sight: Support Cataract Surgeries in Nepal and India
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Rheahana! This summer, I will be revisiting Nepal, my mother country, for the first time since 2013. I wanted to find a way to give back to my community as I am in a position where I am fortunate enough to have such thoughts. In the grand scope of things, I’d love to create a world where health is accessible to all, addressing the unique needs of underprivileged populations through innovative programs, community partnerships, and educational outreach. I’d love to strive towards a more equitable society in the belief that wellness is not just a goal, but a journey that invites every person, globally, fostering hope, dignity, and lasting change for those who need it most. This specific cause, however, focuses on the sponsorship of cataract surgery for the people of Nepal and India. I have coordinated with a local eye hospital to conduct cataract surgeries that will be available between June 19th and 22nd, 2025. The surgeries will be located in Nawal Parasi, Nepal, making it easy for residents from the UP India border to also have access to this facility. Of course, I will be using my own money that I have saved up to contribute to the cause, though please do not feel obligated, you can help others repair or replace their vision that some of us may take for granted each day by using this link. Any donation or words of wisdom are deeply appreciated and will directly support the surgery costs. Thank you!
