Hi I am wanting to give Shona (My fiancé) her dream day which would be to get married, Shona has a lot of health complication's and is unfortunately become terminally ill. We want to get married before it's too late, every day Shona's health is declining. At just the age of 25 Shona has gone through so much medical wise and has single handedly raised a beautiful 6 year old daughter despite her on going medical condition. I am caring for Shona 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as-well as looking after Ariana (Shona's Daughter) so i'm limited to funds on a low income wage.

I just want to say thanks in advance to anyone who donates towards out wedding, The funds will be used towards eloping in Dumfries in Scotland this year!

Chronic Lyme disease.

Autoimmune disease, body is attacking itself caused muscle waste, infections & can get autoimmune skin ulcers.

Dysphasia - liquid only diet ends up on drips or fed through veins at hospital has to stay in.

Gastroparesis (paralysed stomach) can only have liquid so can’t eat food has to live off shakes which struggle with so causing to lose weight rapidly and be weaker.

Recurring infections body can’t fight off due to no immune system like bowel infection, blood infections & pneumonia.

CVS- vomiting syndrome throws up everyday and sick can get into lungs.

Needs surgery for knee replacement and both legs breaking and restructured due to permanent muscle waste, muscle weakness atrophy MRI came back no rehabilitation can help due to muscle waste

Frequent blood tests due to things coming back abnormal as body is attacking itself.

Seizures.

Epi pens as goes into anaphylactic shock can’t take any medications due to being allergic to everything.

Unfortunately due to the severity and how quickly health has declined surgery isn’t an option as discussed with the surgeon immune system is too weak and would pass away due to infection or if Shona was put to sleep her heart and blood pressure won’t be able to handle it so therefore can’t have knee replacements surgery, permanent pic line feeding tube, stoma bag or spinal tumour removed. Can’t have invasive surgeries needed either as needed due to not being able to take medications or any pain meds. Living in constant pain and fatigue everyday.

Shona has carers come everyday to help wash Shona etc on days she needs and because her body can’t fight off infections anytime getting one could make my body shut down.

With the help of all your donations we've been able to put a deposit down on our wedding! We have now confirmed we will be getting married on Halloween 2025. We can't thank you enough for everyone who's made a donation, shared the link or offered advice/services!

The deposit was £200 extra than what was originally quoted as its a peak day so the costs are somewhat higher than expected. We still need £900 to pay for the wedding + fees for a registor, legal documents and witnesses which need to be paid 12 weeks prior to the 31st of October!
