Update: shenny has started treatments! But theres a long roas ahead of us. She has been on injs twice daily. For the past 2 days! And have ordered the first round of of medication 383.00$ for only 21 days out of the 84 days. My name is Jamie. I normally don't do this, but I'm completely distraught. I have a 3-year-old domestic shorthair grey named Shenny who is my entire world. For about a month, my baby has been declining, not wanting to eat, and losing weight. She has been diagnosed with feline FIP today. It is a fatal immune-mediated disease. FIP has not been curable, and many cats have unfortunately died from this horrible disease, but veterinary medicine has advanced, and there is hope for my baby girl Shenny. She has so much life to her, and I want to give her the fighting chance. She is rapidly declining, and in order to get started on treatment, medication is around $1200, which is out of reach for me...
