Me and Krisztina are doing a small little Holiday fund raiser for our local city Dog Shelter.
Over the years I have volunteered and donated to multiple dog shelter, and the dedication from these volunteers is so amazing!
They need all the help they can get with giving these dogs the best chance at getting adopted..... I spoke to my contact at East Valley Dog Shelter, a no-kill shelter, that is overrun,....
She told me right now they are desperate for beds..... dogs. are forced to share small stalls with concrete floors, outside, with no beds. Coz they do no have enough beds and space coz they are over capacity.
The ideal bed is called a Kuranda Bed and it is super durable for outside conditions, its not chewable and quick and easy to clean.
These beds are a little pricey but super super durable and effective.
Our goal is to buy 30 of these beds which will cost $3000.
Every dollar counts :)
**A dog that is stressed out, no bed to sleep on, is less likely to get adopted coz its in a stressed reactive state... a bed can help this dog have a better chance of getting a home!**
If ya love dogs, skip ya coffee at starbucks for a week and make it at home (tastes better too haha) and give that coffee money to dogs in need.
