Give Sean & Jennifer Flanagan Time Together
Donation protected
Today, November 20, 2021 is Cancer Defiance Day #682 for Sean Flanagan. On day #679, he and his wife Jennifer and their adorable dog Cannoli learned that there are no treatment options remaining to treat Sean's disease. For those who don't know Sean's story, he was diagnosed at age 33 with stage IV colon cancer.
As they struggle, to accept this news and deal with what's to come let's give them the gift of time together. Jen has no paid time away from work. No family should have to think about the mundane necessities of life during a time like this. Let's help them focus on one another. The money we give them can buy the things they need like rent and electricity, but also to give them the freedom to do **whatever** it is they want to do, too.
The current situation is that Sean's liver function is very compromised. He's tired. And, it's hard for him to get around due to the fluid build-up in his body. They are working to manage his pain and plan to meet with the hospice team tomorrow.
Jen and Sean have been together for 13 years and have built a beautiful family with their dogs Cannoli and their beloved Bruno who passed over the Rainbow Bridge. (They loved him even with his "people issues".)
Sean has impacted so many people with the way he's faced his diagnosis with honesty and courage. He's shared his love of making what I call "devil's bowel metal music" with so many. In fact, Jen & Sean both love it.
He's helped a lot of folks, "Eat the Food", too. He's poured his soul into that. Years and hours spent researching and using it to support people get healthier without shame and learn to approach food as fuel--free from the crap you see in the fad diet industry. I don't know if it is his passion, but he's amazing at it.
Let's give Sean more time with the love of his life Jen -- after all this time Jen, yeah, I think "he's sure".
