This is Rumple, my mom's 9 year old French Bulldog and service dog. He was recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, one of the most common types of cancers in dogs. The mass in his mouth, making it difficult for him to eat and drink and causing him lots of pain. Fortunately, this cancer is very treatable with surgery--if they're able to do it, Rumple's prognosis is very good! The oncologist says that he can live happily and healthily for up to 3 more years. However, in order to get to the surgery, we have to do several x-rays, biopsies, and lots of blood work, and all of that, plus the surgery itself, is very expensive.
Rumple has been an invaluable member of our family since he was born. He was trained as a service dog when he was a puppy, and helps my mom with her diabetes, among other things. All that aside, he's a sweet, loving little guy and has brought so much love, laughter, and joy to everyone that knows him. We want him to live out the rest of his life pain-free and as be as healthy as he can. Please consider donating so we can give him that chance.
