Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this and show interest in helping us get the care that’s needed for our fur baby, Rufus.

On 12.02.25, Rufus got out of our back gate and was attacked by a pit bull that was off-leash in OUR yard. He will now need surgery on his jaw so that he will not have to be tube-fed. Unfortunately, we have not received much information regarding help to afford the surgery that is needed for our doggie, even though the attack happened on our property.

All of you that have ever met Rufus know he’s the sweetest, most gentle, handsomest boy ever. With it being the holiday season, we’re stretched extremely thin financially and ask for anything that could help to get the surgery needed done. We’re not usually ones to ask for help, but in a time like this, I feel it’s necessary and can only pray the community will come together to give help where it’s needed.
