It comes with a heavy heart to say that Rubin, a 1-year-old Doberman, has been diagnosed with a necrotic femur.

He needs a special surgery to get rid of the dead part of his bone so he can walk and run happily again. He is such a sweet, lovely boy, and I know he is so strong!

Anyone that knows Rubin knows his enormous heart, he is so kind and lovable.

He is a big cuddle bug and prefers napping in the sun and getting kisses on his cheeks. He loves running, hiking, and the beaches and lakes!

This surgery will help him walk again and get back to being his energetic, wild self. He has a big sister, Chevy, who is patiently waiting for his full recovery ❤️‍.
