My name is Yana, and I am the mother of a wonderful 8-year-old boy named Roman. Since birth, he has been bravely fighting cerebral palsy. Despite many challenges, Roman remains joyful, determined, and incredibly hardworking. Recently, Roman’s physical condition has worsened — especially his back and legs. After medical evaluations, his doctors strongly recommended 2–3 intensive therapy sessions at the NAPA Center in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, our insurance only covers one therapy session per month, which is simply not enough for a child with Roman’s diagnosis. Over time, this limited therapy schedule has not been sufficient, and we have seen regression instead of progress. Intensive rehabilitation is now critical. Each intensive session at the NAPA Center costs approximately $10,000–$12,000, not including travel and accommodation. The total cost for 2–3 sessions may exceed $26,000–$30,000. These intensives are not just therapy — they focus on improving trunk stability, reducing muscle tightness, strengthening his core, and helping him move toward more independent steps. Early and consistent intervention makes a significant difference for children with cerebral palsy. We are hoping to begin the first intensive session as soon as possible. Time truly matters — the sooner Roman receives this therapy, the better his chances of regaining strength and preventing further loss of mobility.
