Hello, I’m Anthony!

I’m trying to raise money for our new rescue, Rocko. Rocko is a 10-month-old Rottweiler (as of the 14th) in need of hip repair due to hip dysplasia. We got Rocko 2 weeks ago from a family who was deeply neglecting him, leaving him in a crate all day, every day, and severely underfeeding a growing pup. Sadly, we don’t have all the details, but not coming from a shelter of any sort or having any records, we have been getting everything up to date from the vet. The vet says Rocko has hip dysplasia in both hips in need of repair or replacement. Insurance will not cover any of the costs, including X-rays, medication, and surgical costs, because these are pre-existing conditions when we got him. As a puppy, it deeply saddens me to see such a loving, happy, playful dog whine and whimper in pain every day. I have been having to carry him up and down the stairs all day, every day, and since getting him, he has gotten better. He will never spend another day in a crate. He only weighs 79 pounds; as a 10-month-old pup, he’s supposed to weigh over 100 pounds. So, we have been giving him all his joint supplements and lots of high-protein puppy chow. By helping Rocko, you’ll be giving him the life he deserves as a puppy and giving him back his youth so he can live pain-free. He deserves the world, and animal abuse is terrible to see firsthand. We are just so blessed to have the opportunity to give him a better life and get him out of this terrible situation. Thank you!
