Give Riley a Chance to Live Pain-Free
Donation protected
I am not one to ask for help, as most of you know. I work four jobs just to make ends meet and I’m not complaining. I love my jobs. But unfortunately, our dog Riley needs to have her eye removed. And last month our dog Abby had to have emergency surgery which I am still paying off. When it rains it pours my mom used to say. So I am asking for some help for Riley. Many of you know her. Especially if you were in my class. I am always donating to good causes, but I just don’t have enough for this surgery for her. So I’m hoping even if you could spare a dollar that would be great. Below I will explain what glaucoma is but in short, it’s very painful and Riley needs to have her right eye removed. We tried medication and it helped for a little while, but it is not enough. So anything you could spare would be amazing. I hope all is well with all of you. My kids and I thank you very much for anything you can do. We love her very much and she is the sweetest dog you’ve ever met.
“Glaucoma is a painful condition in dogs that occurs when there's too much pressure inside the eye. It's caused by a buildup of fluid in the eye, called aqueous humor, due to improper drainage. Glaucoma can lead to serious pain and irreversible blindness if left untreated. if when treated the pressure still does not go down, it is recommended to remove the eye.”
