Hello Everyone

My name is Annadel and I am reaching out to help my friend Reyna Badua. In April 2024, my beloved friend Reyna Badua, suffered a sudden stroke which resulted in a catastrophic brain injury. Reyna was airlifted to Perth, where emergency brain surgery was performed. She was placed in a medically induced coma to save her life. I'm happy to share my uplifting story about how I met Reyna. I met her in 2020, and we blossomed into incredible friends. From then on, we always gathered with my other friends, creating unforgettable memories. She is the kind of friend that you can rely on. She's a joy to be with, and every moment is vibrant when you're with her.

Sadly, Reyna’s life tragically changed in an instant because of her life-threatening brain injury. Reyna is unable to walk so she uses a specialised wheelchair, she cannot sit up unsupported, her speech is affected, and she cannot control her bodily functions. She will require 24 hour care, extensive medical treatments and therapy to regain her mobility.

Reyna’s partner, family members and friends are doing everything possible to support Reyna’s recovery and navigating new challenges, from medical expenses to adjustments, as life shifts around them. Please help Reyna’s family to support her recovery as their resources are limited, and the high costs of medical care, therapy, and 24/7 care is overwhelming. Every little bit helps Reyna get the best possible chance of recovery. Your compassion and generosity in this challenging time mean the world to us.
