This is Remmy. She isn’t “just a dog” — she’s family. Since 2017, when she was rescued from the Terre Haute Humane Society, she’s been a constant source of love, loyalty, and joy. Now, she needs our help.
Remmy has been diagnosed with a cancerous soft-tissue sarcoma in her right forelimb. The tumor has grown deep into her leg and wrist joint, leaving us with only two heartbreaking options:
1. Partial Tumor Removal – Surgeons could remove what’s accessible without damaging vital tendons. This would cost approximately $3,752. However, this option carries a high risk that the cancer will return, potentially even more aggressive than before.
2. Full Leg Amputation – By removing the entire leg, we can give Remmy the best chance of living cancer-free for the rest of her life. This option costs approximately $1,100. It’s a painful decision, but it spares her from repeated surgeries, harsh treatments, and months of discomfort.
After much thought and many tears, her family has chosen amputation to give her the best possible outcome and the longest, happiest future.
How You Can Help:
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of her surgery and recovery. Every single contribution — no matter the size — brings us one step closer to getting Remmy the care she needs.
If donations exceed the cost of her surgery and recovery, the extra will be donated to the Terre Haute Humane Society, the place that gave Remmy her second chance at life.
Remmy has given nothing but unconditional love — now she needs us to give her a chance to keep sharing that love for years to come.
Please consider donating and sharing her story. Even one share could reach the person who makes the difference.
❤️ Thank you for helping us fight for Remmy. ❤️
