My sweet boy PP needs back surgery He has IVDD, a condition that’s unfortunately common in dachshunds. Right now, he’s struggling to walk on his back legs, and without surgery, there’s a very real chance he could become permanently paralyzed.

For the past three years, we’ve managed his flare-ups with bed rest and medication, but it’s clear now that those are no longer enough. We recently had an MRI done, which showed inflammation pressing on his spinal cord, along with deterioration in some of his spinal discs. Surgery is the only option to give him the chance at a pain-free, full life.

As you can imagine, the cost is overwhelming—around $10,000. But PP is truly my soul dog, and I’ll do anything I can to help him. He still has so much love and life left to give.
