Help Us Give Poppy a Chance at Life
Donation protected
A few days ago, an adorable Australian Shepherd puppy (who we now call Poppy) showed up at the property we are currently building at in Texas after a massive thunderstorm. Soaking wet, exhausted, and scared, she ran up to us, and we knew we had to help her. We took her straight to the local vet, where she was treated for fleas and hookworm. Little did we know, this was just the beginning of her journey.
We always dreamed of having an Australian Shepherd, and when Poppy found us, it felt like it was meant to be. We instantly fell in love with her sweet eyes and gentle spirit. However, just 24 hours after taking her in, Poppy's health took a turn for the worse. She became lethargic, lost interest in food, and started vomiting. We rushed her back to the vet, where she was diagnosed with Parvo, a highly dangerous and aggressive virus with a 91% mortality rate in untreated cases.
Determined to give Poppy the best chance at survival, we admitted her to intensive care, where she has been receiving life-saving treatments for the past four days. Our veterinary bills have already reached $6,000 and continue to grow each day. Despite the challenges, Poppy has shown incredible courage and spirit, and the vet is optimistic about her recovery.
We are committed to doing everything we can to save Poppy's life, but the mounting expenses are becoming a significant financial burden for us. We are reaching out to our community and animal lovers everywhere to help us give this sweet girl the care she desperately needs and deserves.
Your donation, no matter how small, will contribute to Poppy's medical treatment and give her a fighting chance at a happy, healthy life. Together, we can make a difference in the life of this brave little puppy.
Thank you for your compassion and support during this challenging time. We will keep you updated on Poppy's progress and recovery.
