Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help for my cat Pluto, my little miracle. I found her outside four years ago when she was about three weeks old. She had been abandoned by her mother and was crying in the rain at our local park. I couldn’t leave her there, so I took her home and bottle-fed her for weeks to keep her alive.

At the time, I was actually very allergic to cats, and Pluto was definitely a handful, but I completely fell in love with her. She became family. Pluto also has a brother, Winnie, who is the same age, and they have grown up together. They are best friends, always cuddling, playing, and keeping each other company. My biggest hope is to keep them together and healthy for as long as possible.

For almost four years, Pluto was healthy and full of life. Unfortunately, about seven months ago, she started getting very sick with frequent vomiting and severe diarrhea. After multiple vet visits, tests, and X-rays, the vet suspects she may have Irritable Bowel Disease or possibly Lymphoma, a type of cancer. The only way to know for sure is through advanced testing and surgery.

The medical costs are quickly becoming overwhelming. Pluto is currently on expensive prescription food, and I have already paid for multiple vet visits and diagnostic tests. The next steps include an abdominal ultrasound, biopsy surgery under anesthesia, continued prescription food and medications, and follow-up appointments and lab work.

These procedures are extremely expensive, and I am struggling to keep up financially. I want to do everything I can to give Pluto the fighting chance she deserves. She fought so hard to survive as a baby, and she deserves the same fighting chance now.

Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Even sharing this page helps more than you know. Pluto is more than a pet, she is my best friend and baby girl. ‍

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give.
