This is Pickles. Our baby, our light, the reason why we get up in the morning. In the span of a day, he went from the most playful and happy dog to having IVDD and paralysis of his hind legs. This is a universe-shattering blow to our hearts. He went from being the most capable dog to now being a special needs dog in less than 24 hours. I wasn’t prepared for this, mentally, emotionally, or financially. The doctor is saying surgery will give him the best chance at leading a normal life. I am asking for any ounce of kindness. I cannot afford this on my own. I need the help of my community and people that know and love Pickles as much as I do. My current goal is $18k. This cost will hopefully cover the MRI needed to assess the damage and the procedure to fix him. I haven’t had enough time with my boy. Losing him isn’t an option.
