8/5/25 update:

Pepero has come a long way since we found him as a stray. Thanks to your support, we were able to cover his initial vet bills, food, and basic care. That gave him a real shot at stability, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make that happen.

Now we’re at the next phase of his journey, getting him the training he needs to be adopted.

Pepero struggles with reactivity, especially on walks and around unfamiliar people and dogs. It’s been holding him back from becoming truly adoptable. With the right help he can build confidence, learn how to cope with new situations, and be set up for long-term success.

We’re updating this fundraiser to cover:

• Professional training sessions

• Supplies and tools to support his progress

• Ongoing care during this next phase

Hi, my name is Sonia, and I’m raising funds to help Pepero, a sweet and loving stray dog who recently came into my life. I found Pepero injured and in pain, his paws wounded, yet he greeted me with so much trust and love. I knew right away that I had to help him, and I’ve been doing everything I can to give him a chance at a better life.

I’ve already taken Pepero to the vet to treat his injured paws, paying out of pocket because I couldn’t stand to see him suffer. But Pepero needs more than I can currently provide on my own. He urgently requires a full medical exam to address any underlying health issues and ongoing care to fully recover. He also needs food, medication, and other basic necessities to survive and thrive.

I’m personally handling all donations to ensure every dollar goes directly toward Pepero’s medical care and well-being. He’s already proven to be such a fighter, and I want to make sure he gets everything he needs to live a happy, healthy life.

Despite all he’s been through, he’s still so loving and sweet—a reminder of how resilient and deserving of love animals like him truly are.
