If you know Pat Hissong, you know what it means to witness love in action. She’s the heart behind countless dog rescues and the founder of Ark Rescue, Rehab & Foster. She's a safe haven for animals in need, and the kind of person who gives everything she has — every day — to care for the voiceless.

These past few years have been incredibly hard on Pat. While she recently held a fundraiser for her beloved rescue, our team felt it was time to turn the spotlight back on her — to give something back to someone who’s given so much.

Right now, Pat lives in a small RV on the rescue property so she can be close to the dogs she loves and protects. Her dream is simple and humble: a tiny “shed-to-home” style house — just enough space to be safe, warm, and permanently rooted in the place that holds her heart.

If each of us contributes a little, together we can give her something extraordinary — a real home.

Think of this as a modern-day barn raising. Not for a barn, but for a woman whose life has been about building love, one rescue at a time.
