Help Me Save This Horse’s Life — Urgent Medical Care Needed

I recently stepped in and paid to save a horse from being shipped to slaughter in Mexico. He is now safe, but he’s not okay.

I’ve named him OUTLAW, because he was given a second chance.

Whatever happens, his fate won’t be in a slaughter house.

He has an injury in his right front fetlock, and we don’t yet know how serious it is. Right now, he’s being held at the auction in Bowie and will be picked up and taken to a quarantine facility, and he urgently needs veterinary care to give him a chance at a healthy life.

What we know so far:

- He is lame and in pain

- Injury is in the right front fetlock

- He will need a lameness exam

- He will likely need X-rays and further diagnostics

The costs are already adding up quickly between:

- Bail to save him from slaughter

- Quarantine fees

- Upcoming vet exams and imaging

Here’s what we’re facing:

* $100 to get him picked up

* $160/week for quarantine boarding

* Vet care (exam + X-rays): unknown but TBA

My goal is $1,200 to cover his immediate care and keep him safe during quarantine.

I already paid to save him from slaughter. I just can’t do the rest alone.

I couldn’t walk away and let him be shipped to slaughter. Now I’m asking for help to give him the second chance he deserves.
