Please Help Us Save My Father.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help. My father suffered a heart attack on the night of December 18, 2024, at 11:54 PM. His heart stopped, and he lost all consciousness. The doctors had to resuscitate him and intubate him to help him breathe. By God’s grace, he is now conscious and communicating with us through writing. He wrote, “Bahay na ako,” which means “I want to go home.”
Sadly, in the Philippines, patients who cannot pay are often left untreated. Unlike here in America, where life is prioritized regardless of financial circumstances, here, the lack of resources can mean the difference between life and death.
Our family has exhausted every possible angle both in the Philippines and the United States. We are now humbly asking for help from anyone who hears our story.
They charge us 100,000 Philippine Pesos per day ($1,667 USD) and will not provide him services until the bill is paid upfront, unlike here in the US where we have collections systems and can be charged at the end of the complete service. We simply can't maintain this for a sustained period.
Our goal is to raise 3,750 to cover his first day in this hospital and his transfer to a more affordable hospital where he will carry out his recovery and treatment.
Despite knowing the risks and the uncertainty of his condition, my father wants to leave the hospital because of the growing medical bills. As a family, it breaks our hearts to see him choose financial relief over his own health.
Your support can give my father the chance he needs to fight for his life. Any amount you can spare will make a world of difference to us. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean everything.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this critical time. Thank you for your consideration.
