Hey guys this is Oreo… a kind and sweet gentle soul who loved to play and suddenly and without warning, her back legs have gone limp. Seeing her in this much pain is heartbreaking. She wants to run and play, but she can’t move her back half. We don’t know if it’s an injury, a neurological issue, or something else—and that’s the hardest part. We can’t help her until we know what’s wrong.

Why We Need Your Help

The veterinarians have informed us that she needs immediate X-rays and comprehensive blood work to diagnose the cause of the paralysis. Unfortunately, the cost of testing alone is more than we can afford.

We are faced with a choice no pet owner should have to make. Because we aren't her original owners, we don't have her full medical history, but we do know one thing: We refuse to give up on her. Taking her to animal control isn't an option for us because we know they would likely put her to sleep due to her condition. She deserves a chance to heal, to walk again, and to live the happy life she started with us.
