Hi guys. This is not something we would normally do, but we are desperate. Our sweet boy Obi managed to tear both his ACLs. We took him to the vet, and he needs surgery. She said all his bloodwork is very good, and he is a super healthy boy. He just needs surgery to repair his ACL. The issue is the surgery is $8,000.00. We are a new family with a little baby and a single income. We don't have an extra $8,000.00, and if we can't come up with it, the alternative is putting him down. The poor boy can't use his back legs currently, but that doesn't slow his spirit or sweetness. His tail is still wagging, and he is still fighting. The vet said we can do one surgery at a time if needed. So even if we can get some extra help to get us to half this goal, we would appreciate it. I understand this is no one's responsibility but our own, and we are thankful for any donations. Obi is just the best boy and doesn't deserve his life to be cut short over money.
