Give Nicky the Chance to Keep Purring

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for someone who means the world to me—my cat Nicky.

Nicky came into my life as a Christmas gift when I was just 7 years old. For the past 14 years, he's been my constant companion, my best friend, and the heart of our home. He sleeps by my side every night, curls up in my lap while I play games, and follows me room to room—even breaking into the bathroom just to be near me. And if there's one thing everyone knows about Nicky, it's that he’s always ready to eat.

Lately though, something’s been wrong. Nicky’s been having trouble breathing. At first, we thought it was allergies or a cold, but as the weeks went by, it only got worse. After a vet visit, we were told he may have a nasal tumor that’s blocking his airway. To confirm this and explore treatment options, Nicky needs to see a specialist. Unfortunately, the costs for the necessary scans and potential surgery are more than I can afford right now.

The thought of losing Nicky without doing everything I possibly can breaks my heart. He’s been there for me through every up and down—I want to be there for him now more than ever. Time is running out, and I’m doing everything I can to give him a fighting chance.
