Newt was brought into the animal hospital I work at as a stray. He has a broken hind left leg and a dislocated right hip. He is also severely anemic, which is his main issue right now. He is currently hospitalized, getting a full work-up including multiple transfusions, lab work, ultrasound, x-rays, and will be staying multiple days to get him stable. Once he's stable, his broken leg will be amputated. Despite all his pain and what he's gone through, he is the sweetest boy who nonstop purrs and loves making biscuits. Instead of euthanizing, I've decided to try and give him a chance to fight. Anything helps and it is truly appreciated!
