Hi, my name is Eli, and I’m raising funds for my dog, Nela. A few days ago, she tore her ACL/CCL and now needs surgery to be able to walk again. The cost of the procedure and recovery is far more than I can cover on my own, and as her only caretaker, I want to give her the best chance at healing.

I rescued Nela three years ago while I was at UF, and since then, she’s become my everything. She’s not just a pet—she’s an extension of me.

If you’ve ever met her, you know how impossible it is not to notice her. She has this energy, this happiness, that fills a room. Ironically, it was that same joy—the zoomies—that led to this injury.

Asking for help doesn’t come easy for me. I don’t usually put things like this out there, but I know both Nela and I are lucky to have a community that loves and supports us. Every dollar raised will go directly to her surgery and recovery.
