To help give my wife some more time

Hi, my name is Mike and I have been married to Cecile for 20 years. We have three beautiful children together, Perrine (17), Remi (14) and Alita (10).

In 2019, we were living in New Zealand when Cecile's was diagnosed with bowel cancer. It was treated at the time and I couldn't be prouder of how hard she fought. When she entered remission, Cecile wanted to move back to the UK so she could be closer to her family in Europe. We made a lovely home near Manchester and were grateful to be able to put it behind us.

However, in June 2022, after a year of misdiagnosis', a scan revealed Cecile had several lung metastases.

Despite 6 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy- the disease progressed. Cecile is now stage 4 and undergoing her third course of chemotherapy.

Cecile has a PhD in biochemistry and currently works as a medical writer. She is determined to keep fighting as she wants to be able to watch her children grow up. She has been exploring treatments that can be complimentary to chemotherapy which have shown positive results in certain instances. Unfortunately, these complimentary treatments are not available through the public service. We are struggling to meet the costs of the medicines, specialists and further treatment. We have put our pensions in to the costs to date and we have now reached an impasse.

I ask for any contributions to help us in continuing further treatments for Cecile's life.

Cecile is the best wife and mother and she continues to fight and put a brave face on everyday. We want to continue fighting and would appreciate any help you may be able to offer.
