Hi my name is Jess

as a few might already know iv been struggling for the last 7months with the most heartbreaking battle with my beautiful horse Pippa.

Pippa is my 5year old Welsh d she is my world my princess iv owned her since she was just a few days old and she arrived to me at 5 and half months old.

September just gone Pippa came in with hives all over her body after spending a normal day out with her friends in the field which was unusual the vet was called and she was given antibiotics, a steroid injection and pain relief which cleared the hives in a few day’s but once the antibiotics finished it came back with a vengeance and this is where our nightmare began.

my girl has been through it all in this 7 months allergy tests, biopsy’s, bloods, 20 steroids a day, and immunotherapy. absolutely everything, at the moment she’s on Methotrexate which I believe is making her worse

so after all my insurance money gone which was 6k plus another 1k that iv paid I’m left with nothing except allergies.

Im beyond devastated and it breaks my heart in a thousand pieces seeing her in this pain iv thought about giving up for her to free her from suffering and the pain she’s facing but that whinny I get everyday tells me she’s not ready to give up and I need to keep fighting for her, this one last chance. 

i have never asked for money from anyone and I didn’t want to do this believe me but I need to ask for help from the community to get her to the horse hospital Leahurst for some more professional help to give her the chance because deep down I know she still wants to be with me! 

this is my last fight to help her as I’m completely heartbroken for her.
