He is home from surgery and I just wanted to Thank all you beautiful souls out there for helping us through this unsettling time, and giving Buddy the chance at life that he deserves.

NEW UPDATE : Wegot a tip that Emancipet actually does the limb removal surgery for we think around $650!!

UPDATE : Wetook Buddy to PawHaven today and got pre-op and actual operation quotes and had to get the poor guy some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds for his poor paw. I will attach photos. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read up on Mr. Wooferson.

URGENT: Help Mr. Buddy Wooferson Heal

I'm reaching out for assistance and resources for Mr. Buddy Wooferson, a beloved pup in need. You may remember his story from a few months ago when he was hit by a vehicle while with his homeless owner. Despite initial concerns, Buddy's owner was unable to provide the necessary care, and recent developments have led to a critical situation.

Buddy's Current Condition

After being reunited with me through animal control, Buddy received a thorough examination at the vet. Unfortunately, it's been determined that he has nerve damage in one leg, causing limited mobility and severe atrophy. Open wounds have also developed, necessitating immediate attention.

The Road Ahead

The vet recommends amputation of the affected leg from the shoulder blade down to ensure Buddy's quality of life. To cover the costs of surgery, wound care, and rehabilitation, I've started a GoFundMe campaign.
