Give Mouse a Chance to Beat Cancer

Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and kind strangers — we’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for our dog, Mouse.

Mouse is only 4 years old, and he was just diagnosed with lymphoma. Without treatment, we’ve been told he may only have 4–6 weeks. With chemotherapy, he has a real chance at 9–12 more months — possibly more — of good, happy life. Unfortunately, the cost of 6 months of treatment is $16,000, and we simply can’t do it alone.

Before Mouse was ours, he had already survived more than any puppy ever should. He was abandoned, wandering around town, when he was hit by a car. Animal control found him with a broken back leg, and the injury was so severe that they had to amputate it.

We adopted Mouse when he was 7 months old, just after his amputation. From the very beginning, he showed us exactly who he is: a gentle, sweet soul with the biggest heart. He didn’t let losing a leg slow him down. He learned how to run, play, cuddle, and live fully — and for the past three and a half years, he’s had a wonderful life.

He’s our tripod boy, our comfort, our shadow, our best friend.

We would do anything to give Mouse the chance to fight. Chemotherapy is expensive, and we’re doing everything we can. We’re hoping and praying that we can give him 12 months, or even beat this thing entirely, but $16,000-$32,000 is more than we can manage on our own.

Your donation would go directly toward:
    •    Oncology consults & follow-up visits
    •    Chemotherapy treatments
    •    Bloodwork and monitoring
    •    Medications and supportive care to keep him comfortable and happy

If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.

Mouse is the kindest, gentlest dog we’ve ever known. He’s the one who quietly checks on you when you’re sad. The one who chooses snuggles over everything. The one who’s already beaten the odds once — and deserves the chance to do it again.

We’re asking for help so we can give him the treatment he needs, to fight this cancer, and to give us as much time as possible with our sweet boy.

Thank you for reading, for caring, for sharing, and for helping Mouse.

With gratitude,
The McClinton Family
