Hi, we are Aaron and Kristi. These last 3 months have been so hard. Moose is an amazing Brittany Spaniel that we have had since he was just a pup. He has been such an important part of our family with his sister Astra.

But things changed drastically 3 months ago when Moose was diagnosed with diabetes. A large percentage of diabetic dogs go blind, which he did. It was heartbreaking watching his eyes cloud over. He started running into things. Then he got scared and wanted to just be in the smallest dark corners of the house. We often couldn't find him to even try to comfort him. He withdrew and I started to break. Eye surgery was going to be almost $10k. We can't really afford it, but family is more important than money.

Today was that surgery. It was going to be an expensive but happy day. But it's only kinda happy. One eye was too far gone and had to be removed. The other eye is doing okay for now but will need constant monitoring and medicine for the rest of his life. Watching a best friend go through this is almost more than I can take. I'm not going to ask for the whole surgery, just a little help would go such a long way. Thank you for your consideration and may you and your family be watched over.
